Great Perth Bike Ride

For reasons which are beyond comprehension at the moment (I may have been drinking) I've been persuaded to ride the 100 km version of the Great Perth Bike Ride on November 24th.

It's a charity ride, so part of the purpose is to raise as much money as possible, and the charities being supported are Horizon House and Hope for Children.

Bloody well hope not! Mind you, I usually only wear the lycra shorts - never usually wear the lycra tops (you know how big I am - lycra isn't a good look on me) but the organisers have insisted on wearing their lycra tops on Sunday. At least I have a XXXL size!

Finished, and in a time of just under 3.5 hours! I was aiming for 4 hours, so feel pretty chuffed (and also pretty tired!)
