Attached pic's are the Southern Lions claiming their Plate at the Borneo International Club 7s, beating Outlaws after the siren to win 19-15.
Daveta which are Fiji's 3rd team / 'C' team beat the Borneo Eagles in the Final.
Borneo Eagles were made up of NZ and Island International 7s players and ITM cup players like Rocky KHAN for example.
Auckland Fiji sent a team and were very handy. The Cobra club also had Fijian internationals flown in. Malaysian Uni were very handy as were their armed forces teams (RMAF and Army)
The Paly Pirates started slowly, finding their feet in the Shield final racking up 52 points to win over the Brunei Rugby club.
The Outlaws are also a Perth team, similar to Fresh.
All in all a great weekend had by all and a very young LIONS team with an average age of 19 years representing Southern Lions RUFC and Western Australia very proudly.
