Wallabies trio back to face Brumbies

The Emirates Western Force and the Brumbies will face off tomorrow evening in the final round of the 2013 Super Rugby season at nib Stadium.

The Emirates Western Force will be determined to finish the season on a high note and further demonstrate to the Sea of Blue the solid foundations they’ve built this season.

The Emirates Western Force starting XV players will run out with a different business logo emblazoned on the back of their jersey on Saturday night to support and promote local WA businesses in a joint initiative with proud partner, Bankwest.

Both sides will welcome their Wallabies back into the fold following the British & Irish Lions June Test series.

Ben McCalman, who came off the bench in the most recent Test in Sydney, joins captain Matt Hodgson and Chris Alcock in the back row and Hugh McMeniman will return to the second row after taking on the blindside duties in the Force’s last outing.

Nick Cummins will start on the right wing in his first appearance since the Week 14 clash with the Sharks.

James Hilterbrand will run out in the starting XV for the first time, replacing Heath Tessmann, while Junior Rasolea moves to inside centre to cover Kyle Godwin, who has undergone shoulder surgery.

The Brumbies have named seven of the Sydney Test’s Wallabies with Stephen Moore, Ben Alexander, Ben Mowen, Joe Tomane, Christian Lealiifano and Jesse Mogg in the starting XV. George Smith has been selected on the bench.

Please note: Train services will be disrupted for the game against the Brumbies on Saturday, 13 July. Please see the Transperth website here to plan your journey.

So our experiment with CTM seems to have not paid off this year. Will be interesting to see if he gets released or gets some game time next season

Would have liked to see Stubbs at 12. Hasn't really worked out for him since he came across from the brums to see if he could get more game time. Wouldn't be surprised if he asked for a release for next year.
