Because it was "inconclusive" so they gave us the ball back, essentially "have another go lads"

I got seriously annoyed with greg Martin calling the game! Seriously the man is an a@@hole! He didn't think we should have been two of the tries. Seriously I am so pleased being at the game that we don't have to listen to there drivel!!

the hilterbrand try, i thought i heard the AR say that he was happy with the grounding but wasn't sure whether it was thrown in 5m.

and the Force ofside penalty was definately there unfortunately, i was dubious in real time, but when the replay was on, i saw the force player in front

at the end when the shot at goal missed & the brumby player(didn't see who) failed to force the ball before throwing the ball upfield for a quick 22 drop out;the ref called for a 5 metre scrum.However,the brumbies player catching the pass was technically in an offside position.the result should have been a penalty!

Not "any" forward pass. Pretty sure the pass is seen in isolation and is ruled on which direction it travels from hands. The other offence you are thinking of is passing to a player who is in an offside position. Also a forward pass. Pretty rare to see the offside ruled.

so where was the offside line after the kick, i would have thought 10m in front of where the penalty was awarded, hence player is not off side.

I pretty sure most of WA is a barren wasteland. I just happen to love it for what it is.
