Well the West Aussies are known for their graft and why should their sporting teams be any different. We tried with all the big name players and we didn't get anywhere.
Lets give Foley time to build the right culture at this club get hungry players in who have the talent to make the grade but haven't been given the opportunity who will show some loyalty not like others who take the money and run.

I feel excited for next season with the new arrivals coming in.

If Pulver was serious about wanting to better support the Force and the Rebels, he'd be changing the Wallaby top up system to enable the best local talent to spread across all 5 franchises rather than 'deigning' to allow us to recruit foreigners who may or may not be up to par.

The Force are currently playing their 8th season
It's a bit easier to get into the AFl finals. At that time coming eighth out of sixteen clubs was enough (you didn't even need to win half of your games). Four out of fourteen (as was) is a bit harder in Super Rugby.

In our second season we came seventh out of fourteen. In an equivalent comp we would have been in the finals. You can't compare apples with oranges and come up with bananas.

I wasn't comparing, just mentioning to Jono that the Dockers aren't as much of a laughing stock as they once were.

We won more games in 2008 yet finished a spot lower.

My first post in this thread tells the story - 37 from 116
