    Force players

The decision to rest all force players until after the brumbies match and then have another week of rest just reinforces my view that the Force hierarchy don't give a stuff about the local comp.I would have thought they would have used the next few weeks to at least attempt to win back some support after the week they endured and spread the talent evenly around amongst the clubs to at least salvage something for the season. Is it just me or do others that are involved in metro rugby sometimes wonder why we do what we do.Becoming fairly disillusioned with the whole thing[sound of membership ticket getting ripped up]

Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.

You have to wonder about that when our local products are turning out for the Brumbies instead.

Yeah haven't seen anything that indicates force players after their last weekend off are turning out for clubs this weekend

Shame on them come on guys there are lots of players in the force list that could do with a run

Why give them 3 weeks off for one more super rugby match

Rumor has it michael foley hasn't been seen at a club game this year

Come on guys now is the time to engage

On another note re this thread

    Brumbies absolute legends last night

That match and the reds match has restored my faith in the game

I was cheering louder than ever those two matches

Lions is great wouldn't swap their tour for anything anyone who thinks differently is kidding themselves

Yeah we would like to see a SH team play them but that won't happen

What about Pete kimlin last night had a great game and spoke well afterwards

Did you know his mrs is from Perth Would be great to have him in the force squad

Even bigger fan of the Brumbies now than ever before I'll be backing them to the hilt to bring the super rugby trophy to aus

Two Aussie teams in the final? That'd be pretty sweet!

Congrats Brumbies fantastic effort. That team and result will still be talked about in 30-40 years time if the lions continue touring.

The lions say they want to throw the ball around but they are performing to the northern hemisphere type. Their points in the tight ones come from the set piece and the boot. Stifle that as the Brumbies did and they can be beaten.

Exactly and regardless of it being a Lions "B" team it was still a pretty damn good side with plenty of international experience

Better then what we got from Force management

    I noticed that too Herb.

Against the weaker defensive teams (unfortunately one of them being the Force) they were happy to throw it around at every opportunity. but the past couple of games they have certainly reverted back to the NH style of pointing to the sticks. although I concede that the team that ran out on Tues was not their 1st choice side.

Strong in-your-face defence and breakdown pressure will win the Wallabies this series.

Well he had better not pass comment on it then

Seriously, of the seven home fixtures this year, five have been on a Saturday, so I guess he was a little busy preparing for his own battles and then you have the away fixtures.

When were you expecting him to go, and if he did which club should he go to so as not to offend the rest of mob

The Force are at home for the next month. Maybe Foley can watch a local game - oh no, wait, they'll be 'training' - and no Force players will be 'available' ...

looks like they were training today Eel. they have been posting plenty of photos of their gym session on twitter.

I was under the impression that Foley had been to a few mid-week training runs with the local clubs, obviously when his Force duties are less intense. perhaps this is not the case though.

as a comparison, how did our previous coaches go in this regard?
how do the head coaches of the other Aussie provinces go?
