The fixtures up until the 2015 RWC have already been determined by the ARU, although they have not been released to general public. There is scope for the venues to change and be allocated to other state unions.

The other issue with Subi is the conflict with Gayfl over availability in September if both teams earn the right to host finals. In the current international calendar, the last two weeks of RC would be the best time to host games in Perth without the need to 'share' with gayfl. The problem for WA is that SANZAR would not go out of their way to arrange this and nor should they, as it would be seen as rolling over for Gayfl.

I doubt NiB would been seen as a suitable test venue, as it doesn't have the amount of corporate facilities that the ARU would deem fit for their purpose. As Andy said, tests in Perth will be played at Subi for the near future.

As Gunny said, support it or lose it.

I would say more than 60% of corporate stuff was empty on Wednesday, so either the ARU did not want it or the WAFL did not release it?

The ARU are going to struggle to get anything like a decent crowd at Subi but might be able to sell out NIB which would be the better option. No potential clash with AFL and a full stadium . Subi is truly horrific to watch Rugby at, The "big" screens are laughable as is the view of the game, the fence around the pitch didn't help with that at the Lions game. Having said that I will still go to the game to support my team. As other posters have said if we don't turn up we may lose the chance to have the games. I will not be getting a Gold ticket though as I think the better views will be from the cheaper seats higher up
