What I thought was the turning point.

At last a thread that we are all singing from the same sheet, great to see and well done to the lads for getting us all on board with another super effort.

Agree the defence has been spectacular this year bar the Brumbies game (where they would have had an inkling what Dave W may have been up to). Defence is all about character and beleiving in your mate next you, the essence of rugbys, all bodes well for the years ahead if this is the core of the future.

PS Great tema effort, however at 20 years old a special mention about Godwin. It was another sublime performance and what appears to be a real down to earth kid with no airs and graces on the field

Standout gutsy game guys. All the guys gave 110% again. Can't believe how Kyle whose probably one of the lightest on the field takes on the big tackles and then he's up and running to the next one! Heath is playing out of his pants pity bout those ongoing crooked lineouts though, Brett has got in touch with his inner mongrel again, Rory seems to channelling Rocky, HB's galloping runs were terrific. Can't seem to understand Sias thinking however. But it's good to see some creative attack moves starting to happen would've been a cert try if Jayden hadn't dropped that pass but HB fast attacking run onto the ball created the second try. That's the way boyz. Seems those lasst 5 mins of a match are the prob. The guys need to pause for a sec, have a chat and use a plan on those tight ones like last weeks as well.

Sure its a bit Basketball-ish - but what the hell - The boys protect our try line like no other side in Super Rugby - they deserve our backup.
I can tell you now the chant works - 2007 premier grade final, the shed was full of baysie supporters chanting it out and I still believe that the crowd helped us get up time and time again in defence near the end!!

I listened to the game on NZ's Sport Radio and I thought it was great that the commentators and Aaron Cruden, at the end of the game, acknowledged the great game the Force had. It's more than we get from the Aussie commentators!

THE shed holds about 3000 so I guess you must mean the groundsmans shed over in the corner.

One stat that sticks out above is the offloads. 0-11 to them and it's the same most weeks. Something to improve on in the run home. The set piece has already done that. Except where the Chiefs subbed on Andrei the Giant near the end.

I wonder why they shifted the match to the outskirts of Auckland. Surely they could attract more tham 6000 in Tauranga or Rotorua.
