Reds have Snaffled another Force Coach?

GAGR are whispering about Force coach going to Reds. Also noticed an ad this morning by Force for a new Player & Staff Development Manager position - is this related?

Fingers crossed!! The manager position that's been advertised could be Chris Webb's job though, no??

Not whispering anymore - they're saying it's Nick Stiles. They are pretty on the money when it comes to these sorts of rumours. Very surprised Nick is joining Braindead Dick. But I guess there's no salary cap for coaches :-((

If it was stiles you could understand why. Foley had no input into his re-signing and if stiles is playing second fiddle to foley as the fowards coach you could undestand why he would want to move on.

But isn't Foley supposed to be the head coach though, with separate forwards and backs coaches beneath him?

True. Although when they had the cameras in the dressing room at HT for the Tahs game, the boys were sitting huddled in their forwards/backs groups being talked to by the respective forwards & backs coaches. Foley was pacing around in the background stroking his chin looking like a caged lion! Lol :-D

As you say though, maybe the plan for next season will be different and Foley will do both head coach & forwards coach roles.

Still very sorry to be saying goodbye to Stiles though - he has been great for us :-((

I was skeptical about Stilesy, but I think he's done a great job. Proves the best coaches are not necessarily the best players, and vice versa...

So that puts former Wallaby and scrum coach for Queensland, Tony D'Arcy out of a job.

    Hey Piggy, wanna come west?
