Yeah, 12K is pretty much a given in the first game of the year. I'd say that the two good efforts in a row is pretty much the first time in the team's history that we've done that, certainly we wouldn't have ever had three strong games in a row. I don't believe we've ever won our first home game of a season either.

A strong performance on Saturday night will go a long way to building some credibility for the club, but is by no means a fait accompli. I hope the boys have come home and done some good analysis on the things that went wrong in the Reds game. The biggest danger is to walk away from a match like that satisfied that You are on the right track and not put in the hard work required to back up the performance in the next game.

That would be a devastating result for the team, given that we've had two successive games showing a real commitment to the task and a dedication to performing well.

I hope Foley is as good as the last two games have made him appear!

If we win on saturday, I'll be looking for a nickname for him!

I thought Mathewson had a great game. It's also a huge benefit for the Force having a reliable kicker. Those 2, 3 point losses can be turned around.

I agree with you Peter - I think it will be close to a sell out. Lots of saffers in Perth too so the Cheetahs will probs get some support in too.

Saffers sides traditionally don't draw well but hopefully the ground is close to capacity

If it were a NZ side you would see the "Sold Out" signs go up!

Hello, wakey wakey - the Force have won just one game out of 4. Aren't we all getting a bit carried away ?

Heavens forbid the Force ever win 3 on the trot - Shasta, Alison and Gigsy will be campaigning for a public holiday and free beer for all.

theres not a drop of concrete poured nor scaffold lifted when there's a kiwi team appearing at NIB, often feel like we're at an away game in the shed on those occasions!

The Force won 3 on the trot in 07, RM.
    Vs Canes, Reds, Sharks.

Positive thinking will garnish positive results. Or just do what i do, hope for the best and just be happy no matter what happens, the boys will give it their all. And we should support that.

The Bulls, Stormers and Sharks usually get semi-decent crowds. I would be surprised by more than 15k for the Cheetahs though.

Get a rat up ya RM, I said I wouldn't be counting wins this season, but taking note of solid performances. This is the first time I remember the Force putting two solid performances together EVER.

    Sue me for getting excited!

Even a Reds loving mate at work said they played well......high praise from him.

I hate it when we play Kiwi teams at NIB - the quality of the supporters they bring with them leaves a lot to be desired :-(

RM - at this stage in the re-launch I care less about whether or not we win and more about the way the team is playing.
