Double Standards for off field incidents

Read the following link Re off field incidents o eastern states players

    http://au.sports.yahoo.com/rugby/new...rn-force-clash

Why again is this swept under the table and as link pointed out this is just the last straw of many with Digby

Again Kurtley Beale , Quade Cooper and James O' Conner all still playing with a photo of them and others in a spa ... So why have they taken Digby out ( good for the Force )

I think Muddly hit the nail on the head yesterday.

In my view, it's a calculated move. They think it's only the Force so it won't matter if he's not playing (especially with Genia back from injury), and by being seen to take a "tough stance" they get ahead of the story and take the heat out of it.

They've got some smart cookies in that media unit.

Spot on! That is the possible problem with how they have gone about this. These guys are role models for the next generation, at the moment there is no hope. To all those who will slam this, yes they have a life outside of work, but if I got into this kind of scuffle whiles on a work trip I would get sacked on the spot not told to sit out 1 day on full pay. I no longer feel sorry for these guy's at it seems they don't learn their lessons., Rant over

"The pub incident took place the same day Reds teammate Quade Cooper posted a picture of him, Ioane, James O'Connor and Kurtley Beale as well as Hawthorn star Lance Franklin and other bare-chested men in gangster-style poses in a spa on a Melbourne rooftop."

    - What's so gangster/gangsta about it??? - have a look at Kurtley.

isn't that also Jim O'Connor in the front, or what ever Judas brother's name is.. the one who came to the Force "to get out of the J.O'C" spot light, after giving him a chance, when no one else would... Then cried himself a river "I want my mummy".... then no one ever heard of him ever since ? Another waste of talent !!!

Don't reckon it was his mummy he cried for. The cynic in me thinks he was probably just a journeyman rugby player with no academic qualifications who just couldn't cut any mustard without his 'big' brother to hold his hand.

Wouldn't be surprised if their tough businessman father/manager insisted the Force take the younger one on as a condition of contract for the older one.
