The bloke was outstanding at altitude where a kicking game is an advantage

It might not be too flash chasing points against a runaway NZ team

If he can bring an attacking mindset to his/our game when it is "on" and temper it with judicious kicking when it is required, he could be a very good player.

Someone suggested putting Christie at 15. I thought that was an interesting idea. I think Christie might also be a very good 12 outside Sias.

Let's stick with the horses bit. Godwin is the future and stays at 12. Worth experimenting with 15. Toupu isn't cutting it. Stanley stays @ 13 for the moment for his defense. Cummins has had too many misses this year to be considered. If Christie can play 15 have Toupu as bench cover and shuffle the deck chairs as necessary. Bring him on late in the game @ 13 if all's OK and see how he does. Let SNK force his way in if he can. I'm having trouble understanding why many posters see him coming straight into the match squad. When the signing was announced most thought he way insurance. I still do.

I think having Godwin experiment at 15 could be an interesting prospect. Like you said though, I reckon he's solid at 12 for the time being.

I would be a little apprehensive about upsetting the balance in the backline, although there's still some more tweaking to be done there.

Cummins needs to fire sooner rather than later.
I wonder if it will take the home against the Cheetah's to get back to his old ways?

Force signed him on a 2 year deal as a foreign development player.

What if we had Sias as a fullback and Godwin as a 10?

I reckon that Godwin has the second best long passing game of the Australian 10s after Quade Cooper. We could then maybe have a bigger 12. Godwin is going great at 12 though.

You then still get the kicking game of Ebersohn and he can come in to take pressure off Godwin when necessary.

Thanks I still struggle to get my head around foreign development marquee & so on

For my money and development of a 'squad' players should be signed up for two or three years and allow the coaching staff to build a team to support their vision.
I would like to know what salary cap is put in place in Super Rugby and compare it to the salary cap in the 13 man game and that Ariel ping pong they seem so fond of in this state.

Final part of my rant my heart goes out to Michael Foley and the rest of the hierarchy trying like mad to do this re launch and turn the Force into the Premier team in the Australian conference all the while they are having their knees taken from under them by the power brokers in the east and some of the players who are motivated purely by $$$$

Sorry for the rant but I must confess I am hopelessly addicted to rugby it is my drug

I could get on board with that lineup. I don't think I've seen Toupou counter-attack at all, just kick it away (and not very well at that). Just don't think he's suited for that spot - and thought he went well at 13 last year, so I don't quite get it.

Is Dellit supposed to be healthy by then?

I find it intriguing that the Rugby WA website features an article on Sias Ebersohn's performance in the Bulls game but shows a photograph of him in his Cheetahs uniform!

PR guys at RWA not switched on?

Surely there is at least one photograph of him in a Force jersey they could have used.

IMO this is indicative of the unprofessional shambles the Force has become. I run a business. If I ran it like the Force heirarchy has, at times, I'd be a laughing stock. Hopefully the change at the very top will start to reap some reward, but this silly kind of mistake isn't encouraging.

I agree ( I posted a similar comment about it on another thread on here.) For our own media unit not to have photo of him in Force colours is bad enough, but for them to post one of him in his old club's colours is unforgivable!!

hayward had 2 touches which translated to crucial turnovers....hope thats not the norm.
If dellit is back i'd consider slotting him at 13 and still run with christie at fullback. as mentioned tupou had his best games in 13. not sure why we've run with himat FB.
