    Texting

From an English Professor -- short and to the point

In the world of hi-tech gadgetry, I've noticed that more and more people who send text messages and emails have long forgotten the art of capital letters. For those of you who fall into this category, please take note of the following statement:
"Capitalization is the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse and helping your uncle jack off a horse."
    Is everybody clear on that?

Oldie but still can raise a smile !

Graham Henry flies to Baghdad to watch a young Iraqi play Rugby, is suitably impressed
and arranges for him to come over to Auckland
He's signed to a one year contract and the kid joined the team for the pre-season.
Two weeks later the blues are down 20 points to The crusaders with 10 minutes to play.
The coach gives the Iraqi the nod and he goes on.
The kid is a sensation - scores 4 times in 10 minutes and wins the game for the Blues
The fans are thrilled, the coaches and players delighted, and the media are in love with the new star.
When the players come off, he phones his Mum.

"Hello mum, guess what"? he says. "I played 10 minutes, & scored 4 tries and we won". Everyone loves me.
Wonderful says his mum. "Let me tell you about my day".

"Your father was shot in the street and robbed, your sister and I were ambushed and beaten,
and your brother joined a gang of looters, and all while you were having a great game."

The young fellow is upset, "What can I say mum , I am sorry."

"Sorry? You're sorry? says his mum. "It's your bloody fault we moved to Auckland in the first place!"
