I think this one went under the radar...

WORLD Cup-winning Wallaby coach Bob Dwyer continued his remarkable recovery from a heart attack yesterday, checking himself out of Bowral hospital and returning home to his southern highlands farm under the watchful eye of wife Ruth.

Dwyer, who oversaw Australia's inaugural William Webb Ellis trophy victory in 1991, suffered a heart attack last Wednesday morning. A tick over 72 hours later, the ex-Wallaby coach was back on his farm watching over 45 head of cattle.

"It's astonishing. I can't work it out. What's amazed me is that there's an extremely fine line between life and death," Dwyer said.

"I'm feeling pretty good, I feel well enough to go home. The doctors have told me to take it easy for a little while but living on a farm, exercise is obviously an important part of recovery."
