Injuries not so super for Force

    Oh no. Not already!

Western Force coach Michael Foley has been forced to reconsider his final recruiting plans for the 2013 Super Rugby season after being hit with long-term injuries to scrum-half Brett Sheehan and hooker Ben Whittaker.

Let's hope that's it and has taken the pre-season hoodoo away from No 10

"Luckily" this is old news - for a moment I thought it was someone else.

The new physio talks about Sheehan on new coaches corner on YouTube, he seperated his ankle against Italy.

Whittaker has tweeted his injury (leg in a cast) for over a week.

Anyway fingers crossed there are no more. The physio sounds extremely competent and switched on

I'm not a medico, but have had several leg injuries including a snapped Achilles tendon so I would be very surprised if Sheehan is fit to start the season. Even early March seems a stretch. However these guys are super fit to start with and have 24/7 medical and physio attention, so anythings possible.

It didn't seem like that bad a break at the time. Thankfully Mathewson is a great player and Mick Snowden looks very promising.
