The Force will have 4-5 local players training full time with them pre season. The biggest issue is that this is a massive commitment from young lads precluding them from full time work for no money at all. I know of a number of lads from last year that can no longer commit to a 5 month pre season 6 days a week as they are now having to work. Since Nuci stole the academy money and tried to create his own little empire, the local lads are suffering for their art and we are loosing talent through the lack of supporting funds. I hope that this will change under the new system but as an old boy I can no longer hold my breath for that long.
