wearing black coloured glasses talisman. higginbotham will be suspended for several weeks and itll be called the worst dog act in the history of the cup, but it was a two inch headbutt on his back, mcaw on top in a tussle on the ground. i could see how it can just happen

time for mccaw to lose his sense of entitlement, hes a bloody cheat

Serious case of Quade's "yellow" glasses there GIGS.
Good disruptive game by the Wallabies and a crap performance by the AB's, but then we have come to expect, and got, quality from this AB's side.
Many things I was not too happy about with Joubert's reffing, and some Wallabies play also, but hey, the final whistle has gone.
As they say, read about it in the papers.
Guess Dean's bumhole has stopped twitching for another couple of weeks.

It would be twitching if we were playing Scotland on the spring tour

it was intentional as shit. and he will get banned for it. however i disagree it was a cheap shot. mcaw was getting a massive taste of his own medicine. he was laying on the wallabies side of every ruck being a complete pest and stopping boys from getting out to re-join or take part in the next phase.

as far as i am concerned if you cant cop it, don't give it out. this "another cheap shot" and "he's not being looked after" is a f**king joke. if he's that soft he cant cop a tiny bit of what he gives out he shouldn't bother playing again after his 6 months off.

this incident is not in the same class as sharpe's "attack" on mcaw.
if you want to see an unprovoked attack. look back to etzebthe's headbutt on sharpie. that was a case of a young arrogant dickkead thinking he is better than the best lock in the world.

A combination of copious amounts of beer, being overawed by the atmosphere and a oned fan of his, but I thought he was bloody brilliant and was little disappointed when he was replaced by a "plump" looking Drew Mitchell. You may disagree if you want, I don't really mind...

I was very very disappointed! And Mitchell touched the ball all of about twice the whole time he was on. Very sucky indeed!

Everyone tries to put the shit into McCaw for the simple fact that he's the best player in the universe .Jono if a player is lying on the ground defenceless and gets deliberately kneed in the head and then deliberately headbutted and you condone it you really are delusional.Any real rugby man knows that cheap head shot's are unacceptable in any grade in any country and always have been.I think Higginbottom would be a bit embarassed at the replay .he's a better man than that

About time Oz showed a bit of mongrel against NZ. Still not as beautiful as Dean Greylings hit on McCaw but a wonderful thing never the less. Bring back rucking and see how willing the kiwis are to flop on the wrong side of the rucks like fat seals. At least McCaw got penalized a few times......getting a yellow might be asking much.
I was glad Joubert finally penalized NZ for the play they always run using Nonu as a decoy runner taking out 1 or 2 defenders in the line to create a gap. Only taken 2 years.

Sharpie should have been captain ahead of Elsom, maybe even Mortlock.

I don't condone head shots, but a bit of niggle in rucks and at the breakdown. Sure. Especially against mcaw. He has been a protected species as he can do no wrong in the eyes of the refs. So he's gotten more and more blatant. Someone needs to put him back in his place. He's a cheating bastard. And as he said in his autobiography. Players like that get sorted out

When rucking was legal, cheats like Ritchie got stitched up-literally.The do-gooding mummies boys that run the show from the northern hemisphere have taken that away from the players and placed the responsibility with aload of gutless officials with a whistle.BRING BACK RUCKING and the Ritchies of the world learn a lot sooner than later.

Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.

The way i see it the Wallabies played with some mongrel and about time!!! With all the injuries we currently have players who would be on the bench or not even in the squad have stepped up and are playing like they want to wear the GOLD jersey and are not taking it for granted that it is their god given right to put it on.
An example being Michael Hooper, what a star!! Pocock should be rightly concerned about his selection as the run on open side and well done to Cummins. WTF was Drew Mitchell doing there as well, fat and unfit!!!
Get rid of the prema donnas and allow the new blood to gain experience and grow in strength!!

Handling errors were terrible for both sides... Some might complain that Joubert missed too much but he did have a key influence in policing the breakdown and the kiwis did not get away with as much interferance this time although they still tried it a fair bit, particularly McCaw and that fat prop who got binned (he was theAB's worst on the night by far).

I thought Sharpe had a good game, Palu had some monster hits as did TPN but their good work was undone by silly infringements and sloppy ball handling as usual. Cummo had a good game, pity about that one hit on him that forced a knock-on, apart from that he didnt make any errors and was instrumental on the excellent rush defence the aussies employed in the first half.
I thought McCabe had a good game too with some damaging penetration off Kurtleys inside passes.

my verdict on their performance overall 7.5/10 (itd've been higher if i didnt think the AB's had a shocker.. they coughed up so many tries it was embarrasing.. if just one of those break-aways had got through it wouldve been tickets)
