All of 20 seconds for the first! A wins a win but my God it was ugly and undeserved.

The worst of the lot was the pop-gon grubber a few minutes from time. Just got into their half and gave it up again. Allowed them to get field position good enough to snatch the draw. Mercifully they were just as inept and f@cked it up. First time I've missed a Test through not being able to get time off. It was a bonus.

The most infuriating kicks were from inside the 22. They seemed to take half an hour to decide what to do, slowly passing across field etc. The Sprinboks easily chased through, got in their faces and forced ineffective return kicks. The better tactic would be to run straight back at them, roost the high ball and chase hard. Even if you don't regain, you are no worse off. Worked for them.

The other side of the coin was that they did look pretty effective in the second half when they got into positive territory and held the pill.

SO WHY NOT DO MORE OF IT?

As Mr Snob said a win is a win, we were up in the top tier and it was full of young Staffers, all we had was bokke bokke bokke being chanted, when that siren went, they were quiet as door mice, I'd take an ugly win any day over them lot.
A great day overall at JBs albeit plastic pots

I must say there there was some good rugby last night. It was supplied by the kids at half time! Plenty of trys and not one grubber.
The future can only be an improvement on this current bunch of no brainers. It beggars belief that they themselves couldn't see how they were breaking the line when they had the ball in hand and took the tackles. Barnes should be made to play bare footed and that might stop him dropping it on his toe every 20 seconds!

Number of times they developed an overlap before chipping. They need to take the tackle and off load and use the overlap.
