How about that basketballer who was trialling for the Eagles ? Skills are transferable, Sam Wykes was a gun basketballer before taking up rugby. Rowing is also a sport worth looking at.

Wykes has been playing representative rugby since schoolboys level...Hardly a late starter..Surely the natural successor to Sharpie?

Cam Shepherd was also an age grade basketballer. With the NSW state team I think.

    My thoughts exactly
The force should get a shit ton of money abd throw it all at him. Not only would he kill it as a lock/6 think about all the people he would bring to the game.

I think you mean Mark Worthington. Bunbury boy turned Boomer. Is 29, maybe too late to cross over.

Yep great news but the best halfback needs a good fly half to work with, who have we got at ten? No one.

Wouldn't agree with your opinion about having no one.

Sias Ebersonhn - ex baby Bok & looks pretty handy
Kyle Godwin - Current Aussie U-20 first choice & if he realises his full potential will be fantastic for us.

    They've both got the skills.

I'm pretty excited about next year!

for the first time EVER we have got someone at 10. Sias Ebersohn, Kyle Godwin and Sam Norton-Knight (backup).

We need a passing 12. We have the iron fist, just need a silk glove

    Fair enough.

I've got even higher hopes that he proves a fantastic 10 but then has to move out one spot as Godwin's form gradually forces the issue.

we can only hope so, Shasta!

i am really happy about this signing. no doubt Sheehan had a good year in fits and starts, but he didn't perform consistenly enough for mine. Hopefully having Alby here will give him the spur he needs to take it to the next level!

Nic Nat would certainly be an interesting player.
He would have to be the best kicking-lock since the great J Eales??
