Just when you get a day of good news those fuckwits at RugbyWA sour it by saying the one guy who SHOULD be leading this team only has the captaincy temporarily until one is appointed permanently.

Even if Hodgo gets it permanently its still a kick in the balls!

Hodgo deserves it. He's a blood and guts leader. He talks up WA & has made the state his home. He is articulate & after the pieces he put out about EWF needing concessions & Sharpies captaincy my respect for him grew exponentially.

He will lead this team by example. Make him permanent skipper. Not just a fill in!

Well Done! For goodness sake make an executive decision, and make him the Captain until he wants to retire..or whatever...stop pussy footing around..this "until" business just sucks..haven't we had enought of inuendos, and speculation to last a lifetime!!!

Guys Fullback and Exile are correct. They have to leave this option open until they finalise the signings. They may have to use this as a carrot to lure some one of note to the Force... Its a smart move when we are gagging for a top class 10/12....

That's rubbish....who out there that is currently on the player market and not already signed to a franchise, that would be enticed to the Force with the carrot of captaincy.

Name a 10 or 12 that is currently on the market that is available, world class and would want the Captaincy to get them to come to the Force!

We should be rewarding the effort and respect earned from an existing player. The last thing the Force need is a new player who is yet to perform for the Force, then burden the player with the Captaincy expectations of leadership to a team thats come off a dreadful season with a losing culture.
