Until they sort themselves out I'll be at home in front of the tv drinking decent beer instead of the dishwater they serve at NIB.

    I'm referring to these.
What do you think will be best ground level or elevated?

Yeah, I know I scanned one item upside down!

For the last few seasons at NIB/MES we have been in block E6 in the aisle seats on the southern end of the block (ie nearest the half-way line). The seats have been 3 rows from the back of the block. It has been a good balance between proximity to the ground and elevation to provide a good view across all of the field.

I found the old eastern stand started several metres further back because of the width of the walkway in front of the stand and whilst the elevation obviously provided a good perspective across the field I was happier with the seats at the lower level because of their proximity to the touchline. I guess it's a very subjective judgement and others will have a different view.

I've sat in the old stand at the western side of the ground on occasion and that provided a good viewing experience albeit again at some distance from the action.

It's probably worth mentioning that clearly we are not being invited to determine where we will sit next year but simply to express a preference. Allocations will obviously depend upon category of membership and also on the length of time one has been a member. I understand that allocations will be made on the basis of the precedence in which one joined as a member - as in previous years.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I think the memberships team are to be applauded for the initiative shown and for their endaevours to re-allocate seating where members elect so to do because of the impact on current arrangements from constructing the new eastern and southern stands.

I don't think anybody will have difficulty being moved to a seat which they consider to be better than their previous one....I suspect memberships will have to pull out all the stops to get a big crowd next year.
