    Initial U16 WA squad selected for National Championships

    Following the 16s State Championships last week, an initial squad of 29 players has been selected to begin preparations for the upcoming National 16’s Championships.

    The stand-out performers from the State Championships were identified by RugbyWA selectors and will commence their training on Monday 30 July with the final squad of 23 players announced prior to the National 16’s Championships.

    The National 16’s Championships will be held at St Ignatius College, Riverview Sydney from Friday 28 September to Sunday 5 October.

    John Waqanivavalagi son of Timosi Waqanivavalagi (Kala & WA)
    Wonder if Terrell Berryman is related to 'Stormin' Norm Berryman (NZ & Kala 4ths)

    Stormin Norm Berryman of Northland Rugby then Saders and ABs. Thats awsome - is he involved with local Rugby in any way, like coaching?

    He's been here for at least three years, and was playing for Kalamunda 3rd/4th? whenI saw him.

    He Played for Kala, coached at Wannneroo and Kala
    Lost my right ACL ligament when he tackled me from the side in 2009 playing third grade for Bayswater

    gotta love ABs playing third grade and smashen fallus. really good to have the likes of Stormin Norman playing in our local comp. Even better if blokes like him can lend a hand/their knowledge guiding the rugby youth of WA.
