I'd like to see some more investigation of the financial connections between it and the QRU.

So that's how the Reds got out of debt so quick, small donation from QRC.

No connection would be found like the one's that do not exist between NSWRU, QRU and ARU

the $10million debt is relative to the $13million redevelopment they undertook on their club prior to the floods last year, at the time of development the debt was seen as serviceable however damage from the floods meant the club had to close its doors for months and the QRC never recovered from the lost income.

Its a private members club mainly for the business community, i believe in Perth you have the Western Australian Club which operates on a similar level.

It had a relationship with the QRU by hosting luncheons at their facility and the QRC also paid for a corporate facility out at Ballymore, but that ceased to operate when the Reds moved to Suncorp.

Yes thats right, the Sydney Rugby Club or The Rugby Club as it goes by was a reciprocal club with the Queensland Rugby Club. Offers a similar concept with a membership aimed at the business community, however the Sydney Rugby Club has stayed a bit more true to its roots in terms of focusing purely on rugby and rugby related events.

It was mine until the RG defection and GeniaGate soured things. I've now adopted the ponies instead. After that it's the saffers I'm afraid!!
