    of all the people who *might* get away with it, he is not one of them lol

    Retired AFL star Jason Akermanis is due to appear in a Sunshine Coast court today charged with giving a false name after a car crash.

    It is alleged the former Brownlow medallist was involved in a crash with another driver on Brisbane Road at Mooloolaba in December last year, and gave a different name when asked for his details.

    Akermanis is facing two charges, including driving without due care and attention, and failure to comply with the duties of a driver in a crash.

    The 35-year-old former Western Bulldogs player is due to appear in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court.
