I think its a little milder than first predicted. Passed over Bunbury and I havent seen any cows fly past and power is still on.
aren't the big winds not due until the early hours?

Leave work, go to Diver's Tavern to stock up, tie anything that might become a projectile down, put up your cyclone shutters and the most important step was the last one: Start drinking!
According to bom radar we've had the worst of it, bit of a fizzer where I live in Perth, some rain, bit of wind and thats it....thankfully.
Woke up to no power, but thankfully it was just a tripped circuit breaker.
Downside is that I now have to find out where the wind/rain caused a short circuit.
Hopefully just tripped on a spike from a surge.
