They must have offered him a bag of silver to jump ship. Considering what they would have thrown at Beale & Joc they can't have too much left from their salary cap to entice Cooper down south.

How long till they sing the team song? And then they offer him 200k less.

And then Higgenbotham will have a chat with his girlfriend - OMG - what happens if he doesnt have a girlfriend?

    Have I missed anything?

Higgers is obviously a good Super Rugby player, and he has hit a purple path of form in 2012 after improving his lineout and work in tight..

But the Reds have 2 very talented blindside/number 8 players sitting on the bench in Ed Quirk and Jake Shatz, it would be a loss, but not a irreplaceable one.

I wouldn't think they want cooper, with beale playing great at 10, it wouldn't be an issue.

We have the best backrow contingent in the country. Nonetheless it would be a blow to lose our best one. We can easily replace him but the balance and flexibility would.be greatly affected. Ditto with Higgers.

The Reds may have blown a fair bit ammo to keep Genia. Time will tell at what cost.

In 5 years time the rebels are still going to be bastards in QLD because they poached higgers.

Because of a crap rule regarding the salary cap for the Rebel's marquee players, they don't need to worry too much about the cap.
