in planning for the christchurch game, expecting rain, do the force have WATER PROOF supporters gear. All i have been able to find is rated at rain resistant, water resistant, weather resistant etc .. eventually it gets wet and soaks through

You could get one of those see-through plastic ponchos that the Force merchandise van was selling at the Stormers game and put that over the top of ths 300 layers of warm clothing you'll be wearing!!

The Coaches jacket is warm even when wet, but not waterproof. My call would be a clear poncho over one of them.

I also recommend putting poncho on prior to rain occurring. I was trying to put mine on quickly when the deluge hit and ended up creating more holes. Needless to say it wasn't an effective means of keeping dry after that!

yes I am leaning towards the $5 poncho over the top of warm clothing .. the price of water proof gear at Kathmandu has surprised me a little
