I really don't know Brisbane at all but I have always found Oaks or Quest to be good for apartment stays in other cities. A word of warning though, the cost of all CBD accomm for the night of the game itself is astronomical! Daylight (or nighttime!) robbery so do shop around!!

Last time I went to Brisbane for a Wallabies v All Blacks game the most reasonable place to stay for me was 45 mins out of town and shared bathroom.....what WAS still available closer one needed a mortgage!!!....
get someone else to get them for you and pay them back! haha
