Have we ever had a capacity crowd at Nib as it is, I doubt it.

I mean a capacity crowd, not a sold out game, two very different things.

I'm in agreeance that the western stand? should be rebuilt to give us more seats.

I seem to remember from our "We Need Corners" campaign that the western.stand (weird as it may seem) is heritage listed.??Maybe they want.to keep it as an example of how not to build a grandstand.

I know we've had sold out crowds, which means its possible that people who wanted to come to the match couldn't right? which means if we had a larger capacity more people could come to the game which equals more money and a better atmosphere.

And just imagine if the force did string a few big wins together, im sure we would reach capacity then

yes sort of if all the non-members seats are "sold out" then no one else can turn up, but you can still have empty seats held by members who don't come to the game - so you don't have capacity crowd.

yes with a larger seating capacity you can sell more tickets at the gate (provided members don't snap them all up) but you still can have the "empty members seats" issue and well yes if we string wins together that would go without saying more people will come to watch the game, regardless of their membership status

Maybe they need to start a scheme like in GayFL where if you're not going to attend, then you can let the membership office know, if they sell your seat you get a nominal fee off your next years membership

Take that old 60's Eastern Stand, best seating the ground, set aside for sponsors, corporates etc you know the people who pay the most and it has never been close to full.

No matter how big the bloody ground is I doubt there will ever be a capacity crowd.

As long as the Force games remain at NIB I don't care what they do.

I think we have the best ground in the country for watching a game.... where else could you be so close to the action?

The facilitiess for the players however are pretty draconian...and it's not big enough for international teams to play here...we are missing out on a huge tourism opportunity too...In Brizzie or Sydney, and Melbourne for that matter when the Wallabies play the Abs..it's virtually impossible to get a hotel room...if we have a decent international stadium, why couldn't the Wallabies play the ABs here...???? Probably will never happen in my lifetime but one can dream....!!!

I think we may have had a full house for the pre season came agaist the Crusaders a couple of years back. Being pre season doesnt count I suppose but I must say it was some buzz that evening.
