Hmm. You'd have to be just a bit skeptical about him playing Vodacom Cup rugby instead of being in one of the five SA squads.

The kicks sure looked good but that's altitude and directly in front. I'd like to see how he goes under the conditions that the Force played in on Saturday.

Rumour has it that Jake White has shown interest in JC I wonder what deterred the Force from considering JC as a development 10/15

We all know WF management are backwards and are still chasing John Eales and Phil Kearns as there 'up and coming players'... its a joke that they couldn't bring JC over, but will continue to persists with older players with no track record.

Any how, how about look at this young kid (U19s Western Provence Fly Half) has kicked 127 points in currie cup this year, 12 points more than JC. and can:

    attack the line
Kick in general play / drop goals / conversion with a decent %
Tackle (check out the tackle @ 5.04 as seen by the youtube link
Doesnt mind roughing it and getting in...

and theres another youtube link of him Drop Goaling it from 60 out in a CC game.

    Id say sign him....!!!

Depends on the skillset really, you don't want Quade cooper to bulk up so that he can actually make a tackle because his game is all speed and agility.

I don't know much about Roos other than his monster boot, he might be Frankie steyn in which case he'll be fine, but he might not

Wahtching the limited bits of the currie cup and youtube.. i'd rate "demetri catrakillis" over Roos... seems to have a complete game where roos is a 'kicker'.

With 22 games & 386 points i see him having more than a boot !!

Want a drop goal under pressure (and not just on the training paddock) click ere.
