About now in Perth, and maybe 5 years down the track for Melbourne, talent is being produced in growing numbers. Full potential won't be realised without ARU funding for academies and the local competitions but we will be somewhere between Canberra and Sydney/Brisbane and have squads that are at least 50% local. If all our local players who have played Schoolboys, U20s or 7s rugby played for the Force, we would have a fair few positions filled. Not enough backs though.

As expected horan, didn't front up to the rugby club on foxsports, re: genia saga, they were informed by 2 force sources ( unnamed of course!), prior to kick off on saturday, they contacted qru, to confirm and then they released, the press release and fox announced the signing on tv!.....

Marto was his usual waste of space tonight, outdoing himself by describing the Force as a barren wasteland (bit like his brain!!). What a douche!!

Actually, I heard it all being the Force's fault, after they showed David Pocock confused after the game, saying (correctly) that nothing had been signed........then they spent another ten minutes saying he'd agreed to terms believing Genia had done so (which was blatant bullshit, he was the man saying nothing was sure) and virtually told him he should be playing for the Brumbies?

What's the bet that the Force will be stung with a penalty, even though they were the ones showing a cool head.

[quote=Ian Payten, Daily Telegraph]In better news for the Force, powerful hooker Nathan Charles has re-signed for two years.[\quote]

Can this be believed? If so, can the suggestion the Force are casing James Hanson be put behind us, he'd be far too expensive to sit the bench, and far too hopeless to unseat Cheese.

I guess there's still time for the Rugby Club to decide they don't endorse Nathan being part of our club and shuffle him off to Queensland.

Fantastic news, but why oh why do we have to hear it from the media and not the club!! Wish RugbyWA would sort itself out!!

Mark Whaite the Media man has stepped finished up just this week and Elise is now the go to girl and she is probably in SA with the team. Not making excuses though if the news is correct. I'll contact Cheesies manager in Sydney and find out
