So, who are the fabulous 17 Force fellows who will be gracing the club rugby fields of the metro area this weekend? I read a tweet from Mr Graham to that effect yesterday, but haven't seen any list yet.

Have Cott been issued a whole side plus two reserves this week? Soaks are in for a lot of pain, me thinks. Actually, Cott will likely do them without the reinForcements.

And haven't Wests done well with their three Japanese recruits! If they're as good as I've heard, Pally are going to get slaughtered in the back line. Personally selected and imported by Nick Stiles, I'm informed.

Are Neddies going to do their usual, and start the season with a wimper and finish with a bang? If so, the Uni Hibernians will put 50 points on them, that's how good they look this season.

Wanneroo and Rocky should be a walk in the park for Rocky who are cock a hoop after taking apart the New Zealand Navy Rugby Team 60 points to 7, according to the local rag. I wonder if the Roo Dogs will be going for contested scrums this time. Could be a big mistake if they do.

Perth's humongous pack of forwards will have to deliver and keep possession of a lot of set piece ball if they are not to be outclassed by Kala's nippy backs. Remember Kala's backs took out the Pacific Island sevens a month or two ago.

Dents was a great man but maybe the pressure off playing for him an also trying to over come last years final lose after thumping UNI in the semi might be a stumbling block for the boys down the foreshore

Watched Wests v Neddies practice match last Saturday - Neddies started like a house on fire, looked well practised etc, being a practice match there were a number of regulars (mainly for Wests), standing out. The three Japanese recruits........mmmm, not sure about that one. There were a few shortcomings in Wests defence - but then again I don't think those payers will front for 1st grade this week. Wests should go one better and make the finals, Neddies are up there as well. Wests and Paly should be a good match this weekend.

I think when it is put into this perspective you can see how a Force player who isn't active in your club can disrupt a team rather than improve it... Good on West's for sticking with what they have been working with for the last couple of weeks, i am sure they will play much better for it and the boys will appreciate knowing that their coaches put them first!
