i thought RG was reasonable as a coach;he has been presented with an opportunity which may not occur again for some time.Fair enough for him to accept it.BUT the resignation should have been effective immediately.
Rugby WA should have insisted on this.It has now turned into a dog's breakfast

A little birdy told me yesterday that not only will the players be having a "discussion" about RG at training this morning, but the board has actually put RG's future the hands of a player vote

Also interesting that Spanner is at training this morning, wonder if The Mayor will be dropping by of the next few weeks as well, could the Western Force Retired Players form the interim coaching panel, with Phil and Nick???

Oh my! If the players are half as fired up as I am, Graham will be on a plane to Qld faster than he can say 'beam me up Ewen'!

You mean because RugbyWA would have sacked him anyway for achieving absolutely zip in the last couple of years? Probably not.

But what does sting the most for me is the fact that I swallowed the line he fed about being so committed to developing rugby in WA and to achieving success for the Force blah blah blah. Seems the only thing he was actually committed to was furthering his career. Nothing wrong with that in itself, just the spin that it was camouflaged in. Feels like I was sold a lemon. Again.

It's been trumpeted on every kind of media and forum that the players were meeting before training to vote on RG staying or leaving. To not have some kind of announcement immediately after said meeting is another nail in the coffin of board credibility.

Seems that Vern is not in town and it all need to be put forward to the board before anything comes out.
