    Cheetahs vs Rabble

How good was this game! Gotta say i yelled in jubilation with the try at the end.
Adriann Strauss is a legend. His hit ups were unstoppable.
Anything to take out of the rabble performance moving on to next weeks game against our EWF?

Long for the intercept on O'Connors long passes.

What an entertaining game of running rugby.

Hats off to the Cheethas for playing such an open game and well done after a heart breaker last week.

As much as I hate to say, JOC besides that pass was incredibly good, but I have to ask what difference is there playing with us or the Rebels from a "rugby" point of view, oh yes I forgot, it all that Rabo and Suisse adverts you get paid for, and yes the kick back on sales of the bangles you made a point of playing with before each kick. Yes James that will improve your rugby as you will always feel better on Suisse.

Interesting to hear the the Fox "commentators" on the post match summary on Fox sports news, wonder who is paying their cheques, when we lose we are crap and getting worse and the end is nigh, yet when the Rebels have just lost to the lowest team in the log before the start of the match, they say they are now really ready to click and look fantastic, they keep talking up the Rebels and playing us down, obviously they hate the flights West and want us out and would prefer the short and more entertaining trips

How could they state that the Rebels were better today???

After travelling to Brisbane to watch them play last week and then going to the game this afternoon, I thought they looked very slow, especially at the breakdown.

Beale and Inman were definitely missed.

Going to be a very interesting game on Friday. Looking forward to seeing the innforcers arrive in town over the next few days

JOC must really be enjoying his brand of rugby in Melbourne with less money, a contract length he didn't want and no Pocock alongside him to make ridiculous demands next year. Examples: if Pocock doesn't sign then I can cancel my contract with no notice period. I want a performance based contract so I can leave without notice if we're not playing well. Suck it up JOC- I'm only bitter because the Force was good for him & vice versa. He's gained bugger all moving to the Rabble and it hasn't helped Australian Rugby. I know it wasn't his demands but it still sucks.... end of rant

The Le Roux yellow card is an example of a wierd rule.
Another 5 cm and he is under the posts with 5 points against the run of play, but instead he gets 10 in the bin...

Nah, that was another one where the ref just plain got it wrong. Luckily, there weren't any which decided a game this week.

I wonder if the refs are looking into extending the role of the TMO

Yeah. Even one of the commentators mentioned his hands were up as if to try to catch/intercept as opposed to down in a reflex action or deliberate action to knock the ball down.

Whether tne referee got it wrong is a moot point, to me at least. It is such a grey area that the RFU should ammend the law. Not holding my breath. They are not good at moving with the times

I guess my main issue is the disparity between "getting right" (catching the ball for an intercept) and "getting it wrong". Usually there are shades of grey, say a good tackle, a suss tackle, a penalty tackle and a YC spear tackle.
