In the words of management guru Jack Welch ( http://www.jwmi.com/ )

In the face of overwhelming evidence, act fast

RG is not going to take the Force anywhere but the bottom of the table. The side is not well coached and the game plans are amateurish. He is not tactically astute in the first instance and clearly can't think on the run either. After he's watched the video of the game 15 times, the penny might drop.

    Hire for talent

    RG aint it

It doesn't matter if it's a close loss, it matters how they lost.

Anyone who is a student of the game knows that was a steaming pile of poo dished up last night on attack, and only a fair weather fan, or someone who has been smoking crack would defend/excuse it.

What's got me more riled up is the other games so far this weekend, compared to them it was a bloody embarrassment and you'd think we were playing in the NPC against Northland or something.
    Thanks old boy

A spade is a spade. The performance was tactically inept........a coaching problem

The players busted their balls. There was no lack of effort. Pek Cowan was outstanding

The failings were in the 6 inches between the coach's ears

The biggest bloke on the field who has been the leading try scorer in a few seasons of French 1st division............wasn't given the ball. Nor was he steaming onto it at pace at the brumbies mid field. A moron might have involved the Force high profile "import" in the game plan. RG did not.......nor did a message go out........nor was there a tactical tweak at half time

.........and the long suffering Force fans got to sit through another heart stopper asking "why don't they pass the ball to the massive c-nt who runs faster than most people on the field"

I can think of no reason other than the coach is a moron

A little harsh as always Rex but I can tell you that what happened on the field was not the game plan at all - at no time all preseason did RG and the team call for aimless kicking of the ball away or ensure that the ball does not get more than three meters from the previous ruck - that is on field leadership or a lack of confidence in the players... Stannard is not a 10 and it showed. Get some one in now and play patterns that are practiced in the months prior to game one.

Now maybe no one is listening to RG and that is a problem but to say that there was no game plan shows how out of touch you are. It was not enacted nor was it rectified. This goes much deeper than the coach.

When referring to the Force, you shouldn't include the words "passing" and "backs" in the same sentence.

So there were players out there Rex? I thought the loss was all the Coaches fault?

Hmmm - here is a thought - If we know that the big bloke in the Blue shirt is a former leading try scorer. I wonder if the Brumbies know that too? Im pretty sure they have YouTube and Wikipedia. I wonder if the Brumbies game plan was to put pressure on the inside backs to make sure that the Force Outside backs dont get the ball.

Any Student of the Game will tell you that a game plan pretty much goes out the window as soon as the other team comes on the field. What happens after that is entirely up to the players on the field.

Have the knockers seen the Brumbies coaching set up this season.

Jake White, Gregan, Larkham and Laurie Fisher.

We lost by two points, away from home as well.

    Give the boys a chance.
