Where's browny & Who is Sam Wara ??
Sam WARA is small for a Fijian - standing around 183 & 90kgs - I watched him closely against the Reds & he's not standout player - Hopefullly he or stanley finds some space on the weekend.

A bit worried about our centre's - they are both purely defensive specialists - I saw Sidey getting chopped down by the Reds with ease..... their inside backs barely raising a sweat.

I would've liked to see Stanley at 12 Dellit at 13 - hopefully Dellit and Shep's come right for their next game.

Our forward pack looks the goods however, can't wait.

I guess we dont have any other fullback options with no Shepherd or Dellit. Maybe Seymour?

    Hopefully Mafi goes ok.

I think Mafi would have it all over Seymour for a fullback spot - Mafi's shown he's got plenty of time when under pressure, which is a must for a Fullback & is quite light on his feet also. Seymour on the other hand is very stocky & strong in the upper body - would be well suited to the 2nd5/inside centre roll much like Aaron Mauger did for the sanders & AB's. Seymour at i/centre would take a bit of pressure of Chucky & we don't need to crash ballers in the centres.

Mafi's handling isn't the best. I hope they prepare him for a lot of high balls. At least he has the gas for a good counter attack. They had Cummins play 15 (pretty well IIRC) in the Samoa games last season. Why not keep him there?

probably gone on a 'walkabout' like he did when he was at the Brisbane Broncos, and they found him some 2 weeks later in London.

I spoke to him at half time at the trial match, said his back is giving him a bit of grief and doc decided to rest it, would hopefully be getting back soon, no idea when. Sounded quite las minute, especially since he was on the team list. Maybe it was worse than they thought. I saw Paddy Dellit there too, and he was limping around like he had a wooden leg or 2, didn't get a chance to go over and see what his problem was.

I'm so excited to see Nalaga get on the pitch! Mafi impressed me last week, hopefully he's comfortable at the back.

A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

The force are being exposed in the one area they didn't need to be the backs straight up first game.

The photo distinguishes Delitt as a back. Shaved legs and out due to a bruise.

surely sheps should be there. I have very bad feeling looking at our back line. cant believe we have had 15 weeks pre season and now sheps needs more rugby??? Isnt the pre season for getting prepared? For once he's not injured , dont agree with this decision at all. Hope I'm proved wrong but it doesnt look good....

Sheps wasn't going to start anyway, but has picked up a minor injury - maybe still just a bit sore.
