Couldnt believe they paid that try. Unbelievable.
Now im not a fan of kicking for the most part , but the kicking in general was terrible. Neither Dellit or Stannard impressed in that respect, and Ripia didnt start off well with the boot either but progressively improved. I think Dellit was exposed under the high ball so I think his longterm prospects are at 13 and Shepherd needs to be healthy next year to cover fullback for his kicking. I guess this is where we will miss JOC. Also really need someone with jets on their shoes to replace David Smith. Mafi started well and then faded away.
Cipriani makes the rebel attack dangerous. With JOC and Beale outside of him would definitely make a lot of highlights for plays of the week. The ref was terrible but I thought melbourne got the worst of the calls. Another solid game for Gerrard with the only blemish being not putting the ball into touch after winning a penalty. For the most part the rebels pack did well to compete against the force pack. I like Saffy and I think he will be more improved next year.

About time we won at the death. Officials nearly cost us but we hung in till the end. Inman may not have fans lately, but he made Chucky's try. Sheehan - slow ball as per usual but his defense was awesome. Well done boys!

Scrappy is the word, alright. Too many errors by both teams stifling any chances of flowing, running rugby. As Haji has said, kicking was appalling, reminiscent of early rounds this year. Still, nice to win a close one.

A pretty poor quality game really. I should have watched Jerry Springer instead.

Went down to the local to watch it on foxtel. Adelaide vs Western Bulldogs was on as well which was more entertaining in parts. Wasn't a good ad for the game - Lucky I had a beer. Kicking was terrible, couldn't understand why they kicked so much as they put together some good phases when they ran it - in spite of some poor handling skills
