    Sack Graham now!

Again, failure to finish. Lack of plan B total lack of plan A!

Stevie Wonder could have ran this game better.

    Devo'd.

While not calling for Graham's head, I do wonder at what he's doing as head coach.

He's got a team largely inherited from Mitchell. The way they are playing is largely the same as under Mitchell, and certainly not to the squad's strengths.

We have a fairly light, mobile forward pack and heavy(ish) backs. To play to our strengths, we'd get the ball wide to runners at pace, and back our forwards to get to and support the breakdown first. We have four excellent breakdown men in Pocock, Hodgo, Brownie and Bennie Mac. Instead we play one-out smash-mouth rugby using Sharpie and Wykes while the backs stand around getting too flat because they haven't seen any ball for minutes on end. Signing Mafu would actually be good for the game we're playing, but hardly conducive to exciting rugby. As a specialist attack coach, Graham's not doing a great job in getting them to attack.

Thumbs up Great defence but no attack

I would like to put my 2 cents worth in now. Having watched all the games either live or Tv and seem to find our guys are great in defence and man up well but once they have the ball in attack there is still no direction. We need a attack coach to give directives to certain players to take charge of this area. On Saturday night you could hear the Force forwards calling man up go forward when we were in the defensive..Our attack is as stated by the media the same old same old and teams can read it in the papers before a game and even the commentators tell us before games the force attack plan. We have the talent in our backs and loosies why not use it. I liked the way the crusaders back 4 played and they must read the papers also coze they knew that when JOC or Ripia had the ball for certain players go back as it going to come to them and thats how we got done in that game they brought the ball forward at pace or kicked with chasers. They mixed it up and we were left wondering..
I dont think its R G who needs to look for another job but some one needs to employ a good attack coach who can train our players to set up moves ,,, watch the run of play,,,, to hold the ball and throw it wide or bring in players on the run... Also teach our players to do as the others do sheild the player with the ball when going wide.. You Cant knock the players for doing what they doing before knowing we have the right people coaching them.. We have some great talent in our backs and I think Cullet ,, Paddy Dellit ,,, Cam Shep ,, David Smith,, JOC,,, Inman ( or his replacement for next yr) Ripia and Sheehan need to talk more or poss have a training session on their own and work out the moves and the calls just like the forwards do or poss have a behind close doors chat and have one of those talks where nothing leaves the room thingys type chats or even a friendy boxing match to get ride of the bad air if there is any so they can play as a team not individuals.. The team has so much talent and its so great to have them signing up again as with a few twicks here and there the force will rein supreme.

Thanks for letting me have my rant but I am a true Blue Force Supporter and gee its going to come when we will have the best team in the comp and i just wish it could happen in Sharpies rein as he has been a stalwart and has kept the boys together and leads them well.. We lost 2 yrs in the Giteau times as he was the biggest waste of time and money. Now lets get down and do the jobs for next yr boys...

The problem is that we are always thinking next year will be better when in fact each year is much the same as the last. Different excuses for poor starts etc etc but the reality is that the set up is not good enough.

What would have happened if the Force lost four players in the first 20 minutes of a match as did the Crusaders against the Stormers last Saturday ??? It's the difference between a good set up which is what the Crusaders represent and the bunch of w@nkers that we support that would have fallen apart and been hammered.

The Force have lacked a good coach from day one. Mitchel was a forwards coach not a head coach and I'm not sure what RG is meant to be other than and ARU designate on trial as a possible and eventual successor to Robbie Deans - God help us !!

The Reds and Rebels have got it right - get a good coach and the rest will fall into place. Who coached the Brumbies in their successful years ?? The Brumbies have suffered from the same problem as the Force in recent times but have sorted it out for next year with Jake White. When are the Force going to get a good coach with a proven and successful track record ?

"the bunch of w@nkers that we support ...." really useful that comment... Although i somewhat agree with most of the criticsm of the team i would never call them "w@nkers" It was VERY clear to me that the team played to a set game plan and on the most part it was fairly successful, particularly when the Tahs tried running it at us from inside their half... the problem was that they changed their game plan and we didnt ours... not necessarily the players fault there.

Hickeys post game interview. - some may not agree with him (particularly in regards to Barnes) but think he he pointed out the main reason for their win quite well.

I don't think the team is playing anything like the style they played under Mitchell. It seems to have become an ever increasing 10 man style with JOC booting PG's. It's dull, dull dull. Mitch at least liked to run the ball and counter

David Smith has never kicked a ball in his life. he was usually on the end of backline sorties and finishing tries. he looks lost when he's supposed to hoof it.......coaches orders.

have a crack before the game dies in WA

    It's hard to watch

This was the poorest game of rugby since I last watched Paly play - no plan at all and something needs to be done... what has happened to the pre season quote re "The Force will play an attacking brand of rugby"????

    well said Rex Sicem Rex

as you have stated JOC kicks Penalties

JOC highest points score in comp ++++++
Western force lowest number of tries in comp

===== Dull rugby and as I have said we need to run the ball and attack yesz agree JM had tries on the paddock

Poss my last comment about RG could need some Twicking and maybe he needs to step aside
I am open to any ones opinion

Ten games was nearly a season for Mitch, SOME improvement since game one should be expected!

To be fair, i know theres a lot of love around here for our former coach.....but, there was not much improvement on our league position between JM's first season, where we finished last, and his final season where we finished 2nd last, and i'd like to add his current club is also......Last!......

RG is not delivering what he promised prior to season start. So how long do we give him or is he already a dead man walking? Yet agin we are having to hope for better next year after being let down by poor tactical play. You only have to look at the Rebels to see what can be achieved when you have a great coach from day one. Sorry RG you've not convinced me that you have any ability beyond that of reading JM's play book and that is not what is needed at the Force. Time to shape up or ship out.

Mitch coached the allblacks to tri nations and bledisloe glory

Mitch was a 'ard man who grew up where players were expected to perform. Our baby faced GPS boys don't like it up em

RG isn't a clever man. He should go
