As you know, dear reader, I am not one for negatively commenting on the match official, BUT........

What really sh1ts me with ANY rugby game is where the ref wimps out and calls for a scrum when a post-tackle ruck is not moving. There is a reason the ball doesn't emerge and it is usually because someone did not roll away. Penalise the player and it won't happen again, Sir.

What also sh1ts me is the Aussie Foxtel commentators and their (i) lack of law knowledge, and (ii) obvious bias against non-ES teams. (or is that non NSW/ACT teams)

oh and awesome for a win obviously but even more awesome was that I saw the lads play a full 80 minutes of rugby!!

Congrats Shasta on your news. Tough one for young Elvis to learn from but I hope he gets some good support from the Brumbies lads. The Brumbies locks let Elvis down and didn't mix it up enough for him to cut Sharpie out. Sharpie had them easy...

I wondered why they took so long to get Hegarty off, he was getting Pwned all over the shop, particularly in the line outs, but Elvis' strong point wasn't his throwing was it?

Yeah, nah, I don't recall having too many issues with the lineout throws. Especially those Brumbies throws in the 2nd half - I liked them a lot!

JOC was official MOM according to ABC news, he played OK but was not MOM in my view, it should have been Sharpie. Who decides these things?

How could JOC be man of the match?...he played well ofcourse..but he also missed two kicks...Who does decide these things..PLONKERS..but hey! if it keeps JOC with us...he can be MOM every week..LOL!!!

I reckon more of us should do what I do..and send an email EVERY week complaining of the one eyedness, lack of Rugby and player knowledge for that matter..from the crap pack....I turn the sound off most games...

I think they have high hopes for Hegarty (it was only his 2-3rd S15 match), yep The Force lads did pound him, his was always going to be tagetted as a newbee. I agree perhaps he should have gone soon. But I do think Chiz didn't mix it up at the line out when Sharpie was killing them, effectily Sharpie with JOCs kicking just shut teh Brumbies down in tehir own half.

Elvis looks like a good solid player, he needs more game time a tier 2. Ponies blew a lot of points in the first half... its tough to be a brumbies supporter in 2011..... Can we have Charles back now please?
