Growden looks to have abandoned his beloved Tahds and jumped on the Reds gravy train.

    I question

    13. Ben Tapuai (Reds) (1)
    11. Rod Davies (Reds) (1)
    4. Rob Simmons (Reds) (2)
    3. James Slipper (Reds) (2)
    2. Saia Faingaa (Reds) (3)
    1. Ben Daley (Reds) (2

    Thoughts?

As impressed as I was with his cameo, it's a pretty major call to be putting a 20 minute reserve into #12.

Ok, so who did he compete against.

    Gene, probably worth considering
Whoever played for the Rebels - there was a reason the rebels didn't get a player in the team
Tom Carter - didn't do much at all
And of course Anthony Faingaa, who Harris definitely outplayed.

So, whilst I could argue for gene, I think Harris is a call I could live with.

I have a lot more trouble coping with inclusive like Simmons over cummins, Faingaa over any hooker in the game, Daley and slipper over Tim and pek.

    My opinion though

I dunno why anyone bothers with Grub's Team of the Week anymore. How can you rationalise the ramblings of a pie munching hack who doesn't know his arse from his elbow?

Let's just hope he's left with the same lack of choice every week from now till June.

I was having a bit of a chuckle about the Tahs fans commenting on Tom Carter being their best player in the Cheetahs game.

You know you are playing really badly when a guy who doesn't do anything was the best player.

A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

Quade wasn't that great. The Rebels were just far worse.
