What is sad at this stage of SANZAR Rugby. They cannot get 6 refs on a weekend that can do a good job!

Only the Lions' and Highlander's games had questionable decisions from what i saw. I'm asking Jambooi to see what he thinks a good refereeing performance looks like (from a neutral point of view). It might explain all the comments about SANZAR being useless at everything.

Does anyone know what the current ground capacity is supposed to be? The team is listing an attendance of 16k, but looking around there did not seem to be much by way of empty seats other than a few in the (alcohol free?) family stand. Certainly it didn't look to be 20% empty.

Just a thought, but until the upgrade money is actually committed they might want to be well on their guard against under-reporting...

I'm pretty sure the "family stand" is only alcohol free in the corner blocks now? (SS1 and SS10)

    There were only six matches.

For mine, as mentioned elsewhere, aside from debate about Bekker's YC, I thought Steve Walsh had another good/acceptable match.

I am in the unlucky position of not being able to see all matches. Hence the question on threrefs. Reading though comments above about refs seems there is unhappiness with the Force/blues ref. Bet then he was way better than that ref of last week. So last week at least one was sub standard. Reading above this week was almost there.

So I ask again Can SANZAR get 6 good refs on a weekend. Please take note I have nothing against SANZAR if anything I have sympathy for them. They cannot satisfy all. But using refs that are substandard does not help their case.

So you don't watch half the games, yet you can safely say SANZAR are not supplying good enough referee's judging by comments on a messageboard?

And how can you know that a ref is "sub-standard" when you can't even name the 3 referee's who are 'above standard'?

(I can give an opinion on it). But that is besides the point. I'm not the one claiming SANZAR are providing poor refs (and that particular ones are sub-standard). You did.

From that I assume you think Kevin Brown was tops last week. I say nay that's 16% of the refs not on standard. How was he this week.

Nathan Pearce was miles better. this week than Brown last week. Force were there own enemy for not adapting. Blues saw the gaps and took it.

You tell me what Brown was like this week. Remember you saw all the matches.
