Take a harder stance with the idiots that have caused the problem, don't spoil it for the average punter who enjoys a coule of beers at a rugby game. Sorry but this is really nonsense. Or is it an early April fool & I've been sucked in??

Yes noble, but surely if there were issues they could have just limited the alcohol served to light alcohol and no spirits, or alternatively enforced the gimme rule of 'reserve the right to refuse service to intoxicated patrons'.

It's one of the smaller papers, delivered to a select group of elite residents in the area. Probably has a subscription of less than 2000. But known to break the big local stories very quickly. Unfortunately, at times, has been found to miss the mark in some of it's articles.

It has NEVER been forced to print a retraction though!

I guess this means all your French players will be going to Neddies now Fulv.

Actually neddies are doing the drink safe thing, aren't they?

How about Cott.......nah, they'd never get a game with all the Force players there.... the whole season in the bar........still getting paid........yeah, that's where they'll end up!

What is the world coming to - Saturday afternoon watching rugby with not a beer in sight - no wonder non of the Force players want to be there. Hymns and a blessing at halftime though by a guest Hillsong minister will be the highlight though.

Even hints that a 'small, exclusive local paper' might have made it all up didn't help.

I'm apoplectic at this short-sighted and draconian decision from the purported intelligentsia from Tompkins. It appears that they're dragging the club from their rightful place as knuckle dragging alcoholics into the realms of knuckle dragging tetotallerdom.

How the he'll are they going to attract players to their junior club now.....we all know they only played there for mad Monday!
