    Caveman to hunt Cooper.

Star Wallabies five-eighth Quade Cooper can expect a torrid night in Paris this weekend, with French coach Marc Lievremont declaring he has picked two "No.10 hunters".

Flankers Fulgence Ouedraogo and captain Thierry Dusautoir have been earmarked to do a job on Cooper, who was man of the match after a display of attacking wizardry against Italy last Saturday.

The pair will join "The Caveman", Sebastien Chabal, in an intimidating Les Bleus back row.

"We could have gone for the power option we used against Argentina, while there was also the more mobile option with (Julien) Bonnaire at No.8, Dusautoir and Fulgence,'' Lievremont said.
"And then there was the other way, the one we chose, with two No.10 hunters (Dusautoir and Ouedraogo) and the power of Sebastien Chabal."

Bonnaire will sit on the bench after Ouedraogo was recalled despite upsetting Lievremont by complaining about being left out of the squad for last week's win over Argentina.

Chabal retains the No.8 jersey after earning a start in the 15-9 win over the Pumas, and the Wallabies were keen to reassure the French media he remained the symbol of their game in Australia.

"He's got good hair, a good beard, he's got big arms and he's been around for so long he's certainly the figure of French rugby and I'm looking forward to playing against him," centre Adam Ashley-Cooper said.

    "He's certainly won my respect."

Wallabies coach Robbie Deans will name his side on Thursday (2300 AEDT), with winger James O'Connor and halfback Will Genia expected to return.

Genia declared himself ready to play after spending the entire Test against Italy on the bench.

dont believe the hype... ive seen both Palu and Jerry Collins walk all over Chabal in matches gone by... his look is menacing though and it probably counts for psyching out at least some of his opponents..

I admire him more for bringing some character to the code rather than the merits of his standing, Bam should take care of any designs he has on Quiff Cooper.

I'm not convinced Chabal can last as a starter. He is an impact player through and through.

I think that's the point, they want to make an impact on Quade's ribs... And neck... And back...

I guess you get the point

The French are look like they are going to play a tight one. Bash the Wallabies' forwards using Chabal + the tight 5 and use the other two mobile backrowers to shut-down Cooper.

They haven't put up a team sheet yet but if they use Damien Traille at fly-half again you can bet thats where they are heading. Traille is the French version of Morne Steyn. Only less reliable as a goal kicker.

Chabal is hairy and smelly and that is about it. He is a talentless bogan who couldn't get laid in the Parisian red light district with a fist full of euros.

Cooper will jink. Chabal is luggage

Cooper will throw short balls to men in space

Hmmmm not the best video to show your point there pieter. Was that luke McAlister standing still to receive a hospital pass?

It looked to me like Chabal would have had a shot at the intercept and instead chose to bring the pain on a stationary guy with his arms up. Great hit, sure, but no evidence of lateral speed at all.

And the pox jump step straight into the shoulder is old Quade. He still uses the stupid stepping style, but it usually gets him into space now.

Oh and another thing, he'd offload to a rampaging Ashley Cooper before hitting the ground!
