Looks like David Smith would come at the expense of Alfi Mafi since Rory Sidey is up on the RugbyWA player profiles and Mafi isn't. I reckon they should go with Mafi (If hamstrings are ok). Smith would be a good signing but not a brilliant one and we could do with holding out for a bit to see if a marquee lock or fly-half comes out of the woodwork. I'd probably prefer see a back 3 of Shepherd, Cummins and JOC anyway.
If the Argies are joining the Tri-Nations we should push hard for some of their European players like Ignacio Mieres or Manuel Carizza.
