    Willie Ripia

What is the go here. Is he signing or not? All seemed to be in the bag a few weeks ago, just waiting for the paperwork to go through. But I havent heard anything for a while. Did this fall through or is he still on the radar?

I've been wondering the same thing.

The way I understand it the Force are wanting to sign him as their overseas development player, hence they need the ARU's go-ahead. Remember the drama we had at the beginning of the year when we tried to sign that hooker from North Harbour?

I can only assume that the hold-up has to do with the ARU's approval.

Does anyone have better info on this? ...

I hope his NPC side (Taranaki) wouldn't hold it back, especially when you consider that Rooney signed with the rebels and will be playing NPC this season aswell (and with HB no less).

Hey BDG - as it shows Muldoon got it wrong - IQ at Foreshore has risen immeasurably with your presence now that you are an Aussie and true blue Wallaby Supporter - are you not? 35 years means more than 3/4 of your life here?

He had a shocker today with the boot and ball in hand, but Taranaki as a whole under performed.
