Today sees the first home game for the Kalamunda Bulls at The Bull Pen. Traditionally the home ground advantage at Hartfield Park gives the Bulls a huge lift and they will need all of that and more against today’s opponents Nedlands.

Nedlands, last years beaten grand finalists, come to Hartfield full of confidence following the thumping that they handed to West Subiaco on Saturday whereas the Kalamunda team as been seriously hit by injuries that will test the depth of the club early in the season.

Still the citysiders will be nervous heading towards the hills as they regard Kalamunda as their bogey team, having been beaten by Kalamunda in previous seasons whilst red hot favourites.

Also visiting The Bull Pen will be the Bunbury First Grade team who will take on the Kalamunda Third Grade. Last year Kalamunda put Bunbury to the sword, however strong off season development programs by Rugby WA and the clubs down south has seen strong growth and this could influence the make up of the Bunbury team.

The club has urged all supporters, current and past members to get down to the ground and put their hands deep into their pockets as they mount a fundraising effort for club favorite Peter Adams. Peter was seriously injured last week playing for the Premier grade team and will be off work for the next 12 -16 weeks due to the injury, so all supporters are asked to help out a fellow club man.
