Polota-Nau out of second Test

Hooker Tatafu Polota-Nau has been ruled out of the Wallabies' second Cook Cup Test against England at Sydney's Olympic stadium on Saturday night.

Polota-Nau, who missed the first two Tests of the year with ankle and shoulder issues, felt some discomfort in his ankle during his comeback match for the Australian Barbarians against England in Gosford last night.

The tourists beat the Barbarians 15-9.

It means the selectors are again likely to field a very inexperienced front row, similar to that which was comprehensively outplayed in last Saturday night's 27-17 victory over England at Subiaco Oval.

The selectors will however have the option of recalling backs Matt Giteau (hip) and Adam Ashley-Cooper (ankle), both of whom missed the first Test against England through injury.
