With England soon to arrive on our shores, Australian Rugby Union is pleased to be able to offer you the chance to attend the midweek Tour match leading into the first Qantas Wallabies v England Test.

The Tour match will pit the Australian Barbarians against England in an exciting showdown on Tuesday 8 June, just four days before the Test. The Barbarians last played a visiting international team more than a decade ago – when they beat Scotland 39-34 in 1998. For the games against England in Perth, the Australian Barbarians will be drawn from the Qantas Wallabies squad and with a sprinkling of fringe players determined to claim international honours during the season.

So bring the family along to cheer on the Australian Barbarians as they seek to claim another international scalp. It will be a Tour match with feeling and a game not to be missed in the lead up to the Test.


MAKE SURE YOU GET THERE EARLY TOO BECAUSE THE QANTAS WALLABIES SQUAD WILL BE OUTSIDE THE STADIUM SIGNING AUTOGRAPHS PRE MATCH!

well you could if you knew the password. The ARU hasn't issued it yet ! I spoke to both Force and Wobblies membership guys yesterday and it seems to be a bit confused at the moment. The Force can't do much because it's an ARU issue.

Would have been nice... Of course that's what we originally thought it would be but the confusion from Bam, Browny and Hodgo when this was brought up at the TWF awards function makes me think that it was simply a case of crossed wires...

If the rumours of a return to proper tours in 2012 are true though we may start seeing this.

Apart from the Wallaby non starters for the Saturday, I reckon you might see quite a few Forcemen in that Baa Baa's squad.
