    Reds vs Highlanders

Benny Lucas will be starting at fullback, planning for next year without Hynes
Ben Tapuai is starting at 12 in place if the injured Faingaa, Hardman is playing his 148th and final game for the Reds
Hanson is starting in place if the injured Daley

If Hynes does leave to play at the Rabble, he can kiss goodbye his Wallaby career, as a) he will be playing in a team weaker than even the Lions, and b) he will have proved that money is what motivates him to play football.

Not a good look Peter - and a really, really dumb move.

A bit of showing off...What would everyone had said if it wasn't successful I wonder....Someone in the Highlanders did the same pass nearly the end of the game, and nothing was said...!!!

    How so?

If he left this Reds team, it can only be for money - no other reason.

because firstly, you dont even know if he has been offered more money to play in melbourne, secondly money isnt the only reason people want a change of scenery.

There are heaps of reasons someone might want to move to melbourne, his missus might love the idea of living in Melbourne, he might want the challenge of playing in a foundation team, he might see Rod Maqueen as a better coach for him then Ewen McKenzie... There are heaps of potential reasons, your just acting like a twat.

this is the problem with gueessing and only knowing what the media wants, there are almost always other things that influence a deal...

He could be in trouble with bikies in qld, who knows!

thoguh he has had a bit of a rubbish season hasnt he (correct me if im wrong, i havent seen him playing well this year...)

You display some real arrogance here TOCC - I've noticed it creep in over the last year or two.

That I have a different opinion from you does not make me a twat.

I repeat - there is no good football reason for him to move away from the Reds - it has to be a money thing only - he has said as much publicly on several occassions.

As to the other "reasons" you've articulated - yeah, pull the other one, it plays Jingle Bells!

It's a bit hard to rate his season - he has done some good stuff, but it has been negated by some mistakes at critical times too.

I don't know that his form has been enough for the ARU to be throwing huge top up bucks at him.

He remains, however, a very handy player.
