    Sports Clubs Drinking

On ABC Country Radio today there was a talkback segment where they spoke to Grant Dorrington of the West Australian Football Commission about drinking at football clubs etc

Anyway.....Dorrington said that at an Eagles game the crowd drank a certain amount....and at the Dockers game with half the crowd they drank twice as much...

then he said....then you bring a Rugby Crowd in and they drink twice as miuch as the Docker Fans...

Yahhhhhhhhhhhh............even with the timing against us at the bar we can still WIN...

    Go the Force

HAHAHA, classic! That's 50-ish minutes of rugby (do any of the rugby drinkers get from the pub to the Oval pre kickoff?!) seeings as they cut us off all the time, plus a bit of half and injury time versus about 150 minutes of an AFL match.
Not very PC I know but WELL DONE!!!

Don't think I've ever bothered to have a drink at a Dockers match, discounting coffee. Now at The Force; well that's an entirely different atmosphere innit?

Any other Force/Dockers ever had a better weekend sportwise? That derby win was THE best. This time they beat the other mob when they were on their game and really gutsed it out at the end - just like The Force.

Bugger trying to get a beer at a pub before the game. The members bar is quite Ok now. Opens an hour and a half before kick-off and easy to get a beer.

Well two out of three aint bad hey EnForcer!!
The Docker won, The Force won (just in case you didn't know), and I must assume by the look on Mrs EnForcers face when she dropped the cards off that all you got was the Daily Double!!

Members Bar: Give us a bit more of a run down on that shasta?
You're the first I've heard of using it.
Our crew assumed it would be too busy to even bother so have avoided it so far.
Is it busy? Do you have to line up to get in? How big is the area?

First game was a long line so we never bothered. But it's near our seats - Doig Room - and about the third game we noticed there weren't many so we went in. Towards game time there's a short queue to get in but we've been going early. Good choice of stubbies light, mid, CD, Tooheys & Crownies abt public bar prices too. Only draw back is if you need a slash you have to go back in the queue. Hasn't been a problem so far. All those bus trips for practice

I'm too much of a gentleman to speak further on this issue.
